It works and it was cheap. Next time I would buy a better one. My roommate has a nicer one. I use his.

- So far so good, have only used it once in place of blender, much easier and fewer things to wash. Have not used the wire whip.
Rating: 4 / 5 - I purchased this in May and was very pleased with the performance and style. This morning I went to use it and when I attempted to use it, found water and rust in the internal cavity so feel it is unsanitary to use. I had not abused it, no one else has used it, and I did not immerse it in dishwater or the dishwasher per instructions. Very disappointed – I feel a thirty dollar item should last longer! There are no obvious cracks in the mixer part so don’t know how this happened. I would not buy another one made with plastic. Very disappointed.
Rating: 2 / 5 - I’ve actually bought this product twice- the first time I dropped it and broke the motor end. This means the second time I bought it, I had double the blades and whisks for it. The whisks are still fine, but each of the blade attachments has cracked on the side and everything I blend seeps in and grows mold. It is honestly disgusting, and it happened to both of them after about three months of normal use. Furthermore, on one of the attachments, part of the plastic snapped off into a smoothie I was blending. It would be the perfect immersion blender (right amount of power, low set blade gets all the way to the bottom of whatever you’re working on), unfortunately, the plastic used in this product simply does not hold up well to normal use. I’m getting a new (different brand) one as soon as I can.
Rating: 3 / 5 - This set was quite useful the few times I used it, but it has a major weakness: the plastic of the blender attachment cracks after a few uses. You can still use it, but liquids and pureed food go inside and cannot be washed. Mold can build up inside.
I will look for a sturdier hand blender now.

- Braun Hand Blender 600 Watt Variable Speed
I have had various Braun blenders in the past and am looking for a 220 volt Braun as I move overseas. Unfortunately, this listing gives no information except 600 watts and the price. Surely the seller doesn’t expect people to buy an unknown product at this price!

I love the Mixing cup, wisk and food processor; however, the plastic base of the blender attachment has several hairline cracks in it after only one use and the shaft is falling out of the base.

After about 4 months of use the plastic collar that locks onto the blade attachment was sheared away. Motor still runs fine but the blade won’t turn anymore.

So far, I like this blender. It is very easy to use and to clean. Today, I made two smoothies with one banana, one apple, three small oranges and a little apple juice. The fruit was cut into chunks/quartered. After the fruit was blended, it was more like a puree which is what I expected. That is why I added a little apple juice. The beaker has measurements along the side, which is nice but the numbers are hard to read. Apparently, you cannot buy the other attachments for this version of the blender. I did not know that because now that I have it, I would like to purchase the whisk attachment. It seems odd to me that a company would develop something like this but not so that customers could buy the additional attachments.
Added Note: I’ve used the blender a couple more times. Because of the shape of the blender attachment, it can stand alone in the mixture. I was able to stand the blender in the beaker, while I stepped away to get other ingredients. That was helpful.

This has the usual KitchenAid high quality we’ve come to expect. Sure, the specs were given, but without getting out a ruler or tape measure I wasn’t able to correctly picture the size of this mixer in my mind. It is quite large, especially when compared to the Braun I was replacing, making the KitcheAide a bit large and “unwieldy” to use. It surely does the job, and the variable speeds are great. It’s a fine product!
